AlloGames is published by Prisma Go. Using the app means accepting what follows. We wrote it to be read in one go.
The short version
AlloGames is a social network for video games. You file and rate your collection, write reviews, make lists and rankings — of games and of characters —, build your Pantheon, chat in rooms, in groups with friends and by private message, play the quiz, vote in tournaments and elections, prepare your year in review, and collect cards with Gaming Cards.
The catalogue comes from IGDB. Titles, cover art and images remain the property of their rights holders; they are shown for reference. AlloGames is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any publisher, studio or console maker.
Without an account the app still works: your collection then lives on the device and does not leave it. Everything shared with others (reviews, messages, votes, cards) needs an account.
Your reviews, ratings, lists, rankings, comments, messages, photos, cheat codes and guides, your username, your profile picture and your profile background photo stay yours. By posting them you grant us only the right to display them in the app and on the images it lets you share them as, for as long as you leave them there.
You can suggest a character missing from the catalogue: their name, and a crop of an image from their game. The team checks it before it becomes visible to everyone; we may decline it or correct its name. The portrait remains an excerpt of an official visual of the game, owned by its rights holders, like the covers.
These have no place on AlloGames:
A private message goes to one person. If they don't follow you, they first get a request, which they can accept or ignore; the number of requests per day is limited. You can block someone at any time, and report their profile.
Gaming Cards is a virtual card-collecting game. Each card stands for a video game: its cover, a rarity and a serial number.
A pack holds randomly drawn cards; the possible rarities depend on the type of pack. Free packs are given every day, up to the limit shown in the app; the others are obtained with credits, in the shop. An opened pack cannot be returned.
Credits are the game's currency. You earn them by playing: selling a duplicate card back, selling a card to another player, writing a review approved by the team, or completing your year in review. They are only used to get packs and cards inside the app.
No real money, no market value. Credits and cards cannot be bought with money, exchanged for money, refunded, or transferred outside the app. They are not property you own, but game items you may use for as long as your account exists.
You can offer a card to other players for credits, at a price within the range set for its rarity, or trade it for another card. No commission is taken. A completed sale or trade is final.
The market is there to complete your collection, not to move credits or cards from one account to another: doing so leads to the removal of the cards and credits involved.
Some cards are issued for an event: in limited numbers, for a set period, with a chance to appear in packs. The number of copies left is shown. Once the event is over or every copy has been drawn, they can only be obtained on the market.
A card does not win you a game. A "limited edition" card, such as the GTA VI one, is a virtual cover and its decorative frame inside AlloGames. It gives no right to the game, to a physical item, or to any benefit from its publisher.
A card dresses its game's cover in your collection, Pantheon, favourites, lists and rankings, wherever you choose to use it. The frame goes with the card if it is sold or traded.
To keep the game balanced, we may change packs, their prices, drop chances, daily limits, market price ranges and rewards. Cards or credits obtained through an error, a bug or cheating may be removed, without compensation.
Tournaments, elections, the quiz and the year in review are free and carry no financial reward. One vote per person and per device: a technical fingerprint of the device is what guarantees it. Any attempt to vote more than once, to automate a game or to skew a ranking leads to the removal of the results concerned and may suspend the account.
Results are announced at the published time and are readable before then by no one.
Some actions can be rewarded, for example a month of AlloGames Plus for referring friends or sharing your year in review. The conditions are the ones shown in the app at the time of the offer. The reward is granted after checking, and refused in case of abuse: multiple accounts, same device, accounts created for the occasion.
The AlloGames Plus subscription removes ads and adds benefits: more packs every day, unlimited game discovery, detailed statistics, a badge and more customisation (larger Pantheon, frames, Gaming Room). The up-to-date list is the one on the subscription screen. It gives no advantage in votes or rankings.
The app shows ads, marked as such by the word « Ad ». They are served by Google AdMob and are not personalised. We do not control their content; an ad that strikes you as out of place can be reported to us, and the report is passed on to the network.
You can import your games from Steam, PlayStation or Xbox by entering your ID. Only import your own profile. AlloGames is not affiliated with Valve, Sony or Microsoft: an import may fail or be incomplete if one of these services changes or limits its access.
Reviews, comments, room messages, cheat codes, guides, groups and profiles can be reported from inside the app, and every profile blocked. You can leave a group at any time. A blocked profile disappears from your lists and can no longer follow you, write to you or offer you a trade.
We look at reports. We may take down content, suspend an account that breaks these rules, and remove cards or credits obtained by breaking them. You can contest a decision by writing to support.
The service is provided as is. We do our best to keep it working, without guaranteeing that it will always be available or free of error. The catalogue comes from a third-party source: an entry may be incomplete, a date wrong, a game missing.
We may change the app, alter features, pause Gaming Cards, or stop publishing the app. In that last case you will be told early enough to retrieve your data, and any subscription in progress will be stopped. Cards and credits, which have no market value, give rise to no compensation.
You can leave whenever you like: Profile → My account → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and final: your collection, cards, credits and cards on sale are lost. Your reviews, comments and room messages remain, without your name. Deletion does not cancel a subscription in progress, which is cancelled at the store where it was taken.
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any action; failing that, the French courts have jurisdiction.
Any change will be published here, with its date of entry into force. A substantial change will be flagged to you in the app. A question? The Support page reaches us directly.
